Maryland Film Festival is thrilled to be named in MovieMaker Magazine’s top “25 Coolest Film Festivals In The World” a list that chronicles “the world’s weirdest and most wonderful cinematic celebrations” across the globe. Other festivals honored include Lumière Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, South by Southwest, and Zürich Film Festival. Included in this year’s judging panel was MFF alum Josephine Decker (BUTTER ON THE LATCH, THOU WAST MILD AND LOVELY) whose films had their theatrical debut at IFP in New York this past weekend.
