photo (9) We have unveiled our great new look for the 2014 Maryland Film Festival and once again we want your help getting the word out!

We are now distributing this year’s yard signs all over Baltimore, and would love to see one on your lawn and every lawn in town!

IMPORTANT: Yard signs can only be posted on private property with permission. If yard signs are posted on public property (parks, medians, etc.) the film festival may be fined.

Also – posters are not weatherproof. Please choose indoor locations if possible.

If you would like to help us spread the word by getting yard signs in your yard and your friends’ yards, just stop by the office (107 East Read Street, Baltimore, MD 21202) to pick up a stack! Office hours are Monday-Friday, 10am to 6pm.

Volunteers can receive one screening voucher (good for one regular priced film screening within MFF 2014) for materials placed in 20 locations (note: 20 postcards placed in one location does not earn one voucher. Likewise, multiple posters in a single building only count as one location.) Volunteers must sign in with their name when they pick up materials. The volunteer coordinator will follow-up periodically to the team with an electronic survey where you can note the general locations you have placed materials (you don’t have to have precise addresses). Only volunteers who have submitted a survey can receive vouchers at the festival. Vouchers can be picked up at the beginning of the festival at the volunteer headquarters.
