Gaspar Noe screens ENTER THE VOID at the Sundance Film Festival

Gaspar Noe

Still snowing. About to see my 3rd Sundance movie, Gaspar Noe’s ENTER THE VOID. The last Noe film I saw here, IRREVERSIBLE, about 60% of the audience fled.  MFF devotees will remember his film,  I STAND ALONE – a John Waters Pick in 2003 and no one who was part of the packed MFF crowd will ever forget IRREVERSIBLE – with John and Mikita Brottman leading the discussion.

It’s snowing at Sundance- cold and beautiful. Redford has already talked
about his surprise at the ongoing vitality of independent film making; said
he thought it might peter out after 10 years. We’ll see.  My first screening
is HESHER and crowds are still hustling for tickets to a 3:15 screening at
Sundances biggest venue.
