One of the first movie sales at Sundance 2010 was Davis Guggenheim’s new film, WAITING FOR SUPERMAN, which takes a very hard look at American public education. It sold last weekend to Paramount. This is the same filmmaker/distributor team that made a hit movie out of Al Gore’s Powerpoint presentation about global warming, AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH. -Jed
