Are you a filmmaker? Do you know one? Maryland Film Festival programmer Eric Hatch and the MFF screening committee want to watch your movies!
MFF 2010’s Call for Entries has now opened — and while we’ll be accepting submissions through the end of the year, sending your films and videos to us well before the deadline is a great way to call attention to your work. Act now, don’t wait!
While we show films from all over the world, Maryland-based filmmakers should remember that we offer a substantial discount on our (already very reasonable) entry fees for films produced in the state.
As it says on our web site, “Maryland Film Festival is looking for high-quality films and videos of all types, from all over the world, to consider for our 2010 festival, which will be held May 6-9, 2010 in beautiful downtown Baltimore. We show feature length films and shorts; narratives and documentaries; English-language, foreign-language, and silents; genre work, “art films,” and the unclassifiable. And while we are a general-audience festival, we do welcome animated, experimental, and underground films; music videos; and other forms overlooked or marginalized by some festivals.”
