MFF/WYPR Spotlight Series Film: THE CENTRAL PARK FIVE

CP5screening

This photo was taken at the 1/16/13  screening of Ken Burns, Sarah Burns and David McMahon‘s award-winning documentary, THE CENTRAL PARK FIVE at the MICA Brown Center.  This was part of the Maryland Film Festival/WYPR Spotlight Series, showcasing the best of independent film and uniting filmmakers with audiences.  As with all of our Spotlight Series films, this screening was followed by a conversation between WYPR 88.1FM’s Tom Hall and two of the filmmakers, Sarah Burns and David McMahon, recorded live in front of the audience (click here for podcasts of past Spotlight Series interviews).  Raymond Sanatana, one of the Central Park 5, was present for the Q & A that followed the screening.

The next Spotlight Series film will be 2012 MFF documentary THE SOURCE, featuring special guest director Jodi Wille, at the MICA Brown Center on Tuesday 2/19 at 7:30pm.
