Park Chan-Wook (whose films OLD BOY and THREE…EXTREMES both played at Sundance 2005) debuted his first English language film, STOKER, at Sundance’s biggest venue, the Eccles Theater.
Chan-Wook is a Korean film director, screenwriter, producer, and former film critic who has emerged as one of the most significant talents in cinema in recent years.
STOKER is a visually mesmerizing, grim story of a family suffering through the pain and change that accompanies death. Cast members including Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowska were present for the screening.
