Mike Sragow and I did our monthly gig with Tom Hallon WYPR’s MD Morning with Sheila Kast this morning, and as always it was fun – Oscar surprises and a shocking new event in the movie criticism world are discussed. You can still listen at WYPR.org. Also, check out Sragow in the Sun on Sunday- sounds as though he’s working on an article about Oscar phenom and MFF 2009 Closing Night film, THE HURT LOCKER. It’s amazing to think that Kathryn Bigelow, the First Woman Ever toWin Best Director and (now) Oscar winning screenwriter Mark Boal were at the Charles Theatre less than a year ago. They were great, the Washington Post’s Ann Hornaday interviewed them afterwards, and no one who was there will ever forget it. The article should be interesting: Sragow interviewed Boal today. THL is still at the Landmark- DO NOT MISS IT on the big screen.

I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your website. It’s a very easy
on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more
often. Did you hire out a developer to create your
theme? Fantastic work!
